Since the site will not let me post my review in the Cimarron review section I will try to post it here....what is up with that anyway? I see there or NO reviews for Cimarron Arms!

Review: The reason I bought this gun is I have the "Quigley" from Cimarron and it is just beautiful with no complaints. I settled on the 7 1/2" charcoal blued army .44 colt version and the overall appearance/finish of this gun is just beautiful. It is well balanced and a real joy to shoot. That being said, now the not so good.
The milling process left a lot of sharp edges that were just blued over instead of polished down first. This resulted in my having to file down some of the edges including the loading door edge to keep from cutting my thumb. I also found that one of the back strap screws was tightend so hard that it broke the tip off my screwdriver and I burred the hole trying to get it out. After I got it out I realized the hole had been cut too deep in the back strap. The screwhead actually rests up against the frame and is not pulling the strap tight. I need a new strap and screw to replace the one I messed up (Cimarron...you reading this?). I also need to reblue where I had to file down burrs and edges.
Next we get to the sights...my pistol shoots up and to the left about 5" at 50ft. Since the sites are fixed there is no fix that I know of for the windage. The elevation problem could be fixed with a taller front sight blade. The groups are acceptable with both black and smokeless at about 4" at 50ft.
Would I buy one again...yes. I love the gun, imperfections and all. I hope to get many thousands of clouds of smoke out of her. I also hope Cimarron will look at their production a bit closer and improve their QA on this fine replica.
