World renouned for my thousands of message postings on various websites, I've driven several sites within the top 100 search engines on the internet. Not from mere subject matter, but from activity and imaginative topics. Knowing your topics, with a firm head of education and research is the key factor to maintaining an active forum. Rule number one is to never get caught with egg on your face, making stupid remarks on subjects that you know nothing about. Rule number two; Never answer a question in a patronizing matter. Rule Three; Never make Assumptions, you can fool yourself, but you cannot fool everyone else. Rule Four; Never rely on a dumb audience; someone out there knows the answer, do not try to bluff it. That is the end of this lesson, for more, you can visit our forum and group areas . groups.msn.com/HANDGUNS

Lesson #2 Rule #1 Keep a simple format on your forum, this very forum, as simple as it is, has attracted over 1,000. members. Many members prefer simplicity, with a little diversity, but do not want to get lost in the mix of a complicated system. Keeping it simple brings everyone together in a room to share opinions and preferences. Rule #2 Do not pretend to be a know it all just because you know rifles or greenade launchers, and your good buddy ( The Administrator) made you a moderator. If you do not know the Topic of discussion, butt out, and let an authority step up to the plate. Rule # 3 When you open your big mouth about something you know nothing about, and patronize another member for knowing what you never heard of, step aside, rather than deleting the topic to save your worthless ego. Rule #4 Do not waste people's valuable time with a worthless forum, based on your own selfish desire to be in charge. There are plenty of quality oriented forums to be part of, which might cater to your one and only expertise. Rule #5 Do not get mad at another member, get even. These forums are not based on one person's opinion, but rather a collection of facts.

Lesson #3 Rule #1 Always make a maximum effort to provide topics of discussion based on the forum's subject manner. Rule #2 Avoid being a back slider. Do not disagree on a subject one day, to turn around and agree on the same subject the next. If you want to avoid offending someone, do not respond in the first place. Agreeing with everyone, just to remain in their good graces, is just a cheese eating method of running a forum. Rule #3 Explain why you prefer something, not because you like it , but rather the design, features, functional characteristics, performance, track records, ergonomics, and general mechaincs. Rule #4 Time, Effort, Creativity, Research, and Think Tank Methods of maintaining a site. This is where you will loose sleep, spend time that you could be doing things for yourself, and make sacrafices that you consider well worth the effort, if one member say's "Thanks". Rule #5 If you don't know the topics, you had better start learning. Rule #6 Be tactful without eating chesse, or getting brown stuff on your nose; Members will respect you more.

Lesson #4 Crank it up. Motivating discussions are based on opening suggestions, which tap in on what everyone is, was, or will give thought to, if the subject arises in a topic of discussion. Cater to the masses. Everyone is not perfect, but who is? It's getting later for me now; I'll pick this lesson up tomorrow. Thank You for Reading this, and I hope it serves good to the few who bothers. Your Humble Servant; Whocares.

Here is one helpful tip, which might save you alot of trouble; Be very selective of how you choose your assistant managers and moderators, most of all, use scrutiny when giving certain unknown individuals certain tools in managing your forum. On certain occaissions an assistant or moderator might become disgruntled enough to delete members, messages, and photo albums.

You're SO full of it DA. Nobody did anything to your forum but you.
This is the most childish post I have ever read, in over 10 years on the internet.
We are all very forunate that you know everything. We don't have to think for ourselves. You have it all figured out, don't you?
You came over to my forum and acted like a baby, then deleted your membership yourself. The you retreated to your board to pout and make up lies and innuendo.
Nobody did ANYTHING to you but you. You acted like a friggin' know-it-all and got personal with a guy who was only trying to help. Not very adult of you.
So what? I started a forum of my own, with lots of different categories. That was so it would be DIFFERENT from yours. You acted childish and made it some sort of COMPETITION. I have news for you. IT NEVER WAS. IT'S NOT A COMPETITION. I don't CARE who has more members. I don't CARE. We've got a forum where ANYONE can say what they want, and NOT be belittled by a GOD, and where NOBODY knows everything about EVERYTHING.
But do you REALLY think there isn't room for ANOTHER gun related forum on the internet?
Then you make up some story about a "disgruntled assistant manager". Give me a break. That's weak. Very weak. I thought better of you, Earl. For the record...I was deleted from your forum right after I replied to the post where you whined about some guy on another forum being an idiot. The one where your diaper was poopy.
You behavior is very strange. A little "off kilter". Something not quite right.
You and your dozens of usernames, and your "accidentally" disappearing forums. People are wondering what the heck is up with you.
I will not engage in a peeing match with you. I stumbled onto this post, as I do not spend much time here. I see you still have some sort of agenda. So I thought I'd set the record straight.
Get over "it". Whatever "it" is.
"Whocares?"
Get on with the rest of your life..

Lesson #5: Rule 1: Always try to remain in touch with the topic. Rule 2: Never make Assumptions, we know what that leads to. Rule 3: Review Lesson 2, Rule 5. Rule 4: Most people on the internet scan messages, so refrain from going off on the deep end in a rambling rage, keep it simple and brief. Rule 5: Review lessons 1 through 4.

Whether it's Envy or Homesickness that makes this poor soul react with such foul and distasteful behaivor, puzzles me. That is not a burden we should worry ourselves with, after all this is a handgun forum.I do hope he finds his niche.

Earl, you must have a very small penis.
Or maybe you are really a lesbian with some serious issues.

WoW, Earl, you have everybody fooled. NOBODY know that you are also Whocares. You are quite the crafty one, aren't you? Or is it just you, talking to one of your other personas? I'm betting the latter, cuz you're messed up in the head.

An internet "conversation" with yourself is SO lame, Earl.
Who exactly do you think you are fooling?
What medication do you require, but have not had lately?
Yer off yer nut, dude.
