What I like about these are their ease of interchanging,but that same ease will work against you if, or when,they loosen, from being holstered,and you suddenly find that your accuracy has taken a plunge.If this happens,I remove the sight,clean out the sight channel with a solvent to remove any oil or grease,and I then apply a small dab of blue "Loc Tite".I did notice the on the Casull .38 1911 that he uses a set screw to lock the front Dove Tail sight in place to prevent it from loosening unintentionally.
