This forum has been dead for months.
That's why I have no qualms about "having words" here with DA/Earl/Whocares.
Take your pick.
GunGroup or DA's forum.
Both are REAL forums.
Decide which one you like, or join both!

It's obvious this Jerome, RogerC, is pissed; About what, who knows. His clown like antics on this forum, and unprovolking remarks, are not traits found with a forum administrator. Be as it may; there are many choices to pick from in discussion groups about firearms, these are just two.
I appologize for any misconception that anyone has recieved from these message boards. All I attempted to do was defend those remarks made against me and the forum of my compatriots.

Is there any particular reason the original post to this thread was deleted and the subject changed?
My post sounds like an unsolicitated observation and not a response to the original post.
The original subject was 'Checkout the GunGroup Forum' and the first post said something to the effect of 'check out GunGroup, THIS forum doesn't have much to offer anymore.... ' My post was responding to it.
I can see why it doesn't have much to offer if posts are modified/deleted at will.....I think I'll look elsewhere - this forum definitely has problems.

so who said ANYTHING about getting just ONE hit with the .45 super, hmm? A 7.8", 28 oz lw Commander is no real burden at all. For the record, I dont think much of standard jhps, in any load. I greatly prefer my own 3 segment prefrag bullet, 70 grs, 2300 fps, because it has no more recoil than .45 ball, permitting .20 second splits between repeat hits. Noone who knows jack squat thinks much of any load that doesn't deliever 400+ ft lbs per hit, and 500+ is a lot better. My load is 800 ft lbs, and it also has the temporary cavity effect. At such high speeds, the gas cavity will damage fragile chest organs, that the bullet never touched. Its shock effect is thus greatly enhanced. You AINT going to carry a longarm everywhere. You can EASILY carry a lw Commander everywhere.
