Hi, Im gonna get night sights on my XD .40 when I get one. What do you guys prefer? The Trijicon sights, or the Heinie Tritium Slant Pro sights. I dont know much about either. Thanks ~Brian

Brian; All I have is the Trijicons.Someone else posted the same thread a few months ago and as it turned out,the Trijicons has the familiar White Outline which makes them easier to acquire in daylight conditions. The message poster went with the Trijicons without another thought and had them installed the next day.Trijicons have worked excellent for me for almost ten years without a hitch on a good number of my handguns.

I just had trijicons installed on my XD-9 sub-compact and I like them better than the ones on my Kimber (they look glued in!!) I imagine they must use some type of adhesive on all of them but the Kimber looks like the glue is sticking out. I looked at some yellow rear sights and green front, and could not see the yellow as well as the green and opted for the green set. Angie the sight man ordered them and set them up and I am impressed with the appearance. Very good Quality. I'm not sure I'm ready for any of these crazy eights, or excuse me, straight eights. the night sights are a great improvement for these 57 year old eyes. check them all out, then make up your mind. most people can see yellow and green best. I thought orange stuck out pretty good, but Angie steered me away from orange. Just as well, now all my pistols are set up the same sight pattern and color. the K.I.S.S. principle in action!

I found a set of Ameriglo's on Ebay for half the price of Trijicons. I don't know how they compare but they work.
