.45 ACP ammo

Went to the range today and rented a Springfield milspec 45. That was a fun gun to fire. from 7 yards I got everything within the 10 ring except like 4 of 50 shots.

I'd love to buy a 45, but is there anywhere to get the ammo fairly cheap for it? or what would I expect to pay for a box of .45 ammo?
