Do gun ranges make all their money from ammo?
Went with a coworker today to DFW Gun Range here in Dallas at lunch and he needed a box of 9mm. They charged him $14 for 50 rounds of ammo. Is this normal for gun ranges?

K'Tigre; If that was target fmj or lead wadcuterrs, that sounds like some of the prices that some ranges gouge people with.I don't buy my ammunition at the range I go to,because it's nothing but overpriced junk ammunition.I've used it a time or two, years ago,but would not use it again.

Go to Wal-Mart and get the 100rnd box of 9mm in Winchester for under $11.00. That is the best deal on 9mm commercial ammo that you will ever find. It's brass cased FMJ and the brass is reloadable. Save your time internet shopping because the shipping will kill the deal unless you are willing to purchase 7000rnds at a time.
