Hi, I just recently bought my firsthand gun a week ago. A SF XD9 and I love it. Ive put about 700 rounds through it in about a week with a couple buddies of mine. Anyway my question is do you guys know of any websites where I can get bulk ammo for cheap. And whats your guys favorite ammo to shoot. Ive been shooting Black hills 115, American Eagle 124, and CCI Blazers 115. All have been great.

Brian;I have been using this ammuntion for around 14 years and swear by it.They have a "Sheer Power Plus" with the Gold Dot Bullets that is very good. There "Canned Heat" offers a significant savings in ammunition costs. They do ship and take orders by phone. www.georgia-arms.com

Brian, The best deal on 9mm is at Wal-Mart. 100rnd box of fmj for about $10.00 from Winchester. The only way to beat that price is if you can locate the Brown Bear in 9mm. There are a few sites that have it but if you don't buy at least 7 cases at a time (7000 rounds) the shipping will kill the deal. Stay away from Wolf or any of the other steel cased Russian brands. Brown Bear is a russian brand as well but they list the cases as "bi-metal". I'm not sure what that means but they don't have to lacquer the casings and I don't see sparks coming out the ejector port. For the best price though, stick with Winchester "White Box" 100rnd pack cause it's the best deal out there. It's even reloadable. PS. Don't let anyone's razzing of the venerable 9mm get you down.

Brian; There are some links on this page for other sources of ammunition. You have a real advantage with the 9mm in ammo savings to start with, and shouldn't have alot of trouble finding it at reasonable costs. It will be very difficult to beat the Walmart prices in this caliber. groups.msn.com/GUNMENII/fivestarlinksii.msnw

Slavik; You need to look at the GunmenII Five Star Link page also because "Cheaper Than Dirt" is one of the listings.

Cheaper than Dirt shipping is ridiculously high, Natchezss.com is a much better deal overall.
