where do you put a paddle holster.. i really dont know anything about holsters i guess i just use my waistband or a sidekick pocket holster

A paddle holster uses a piece of curved material- usually kydex- on the back of the holster that goes underneath your waistband and presses against your hip. It distributes the weight of the gun over a wide surface area to make the carry more comfortable so you don't need to wear a gunbelt, or a belt at all for that matter. It's also very easy to put on or take off because you just need to slide the paddle underneath your waistband or slide it out

That is the kind of holster I use for situations where I need to make a conscious effort to not carry..IE if Im running errands and I know Im going in the bank or to the courthouse...Ill put on a paddle hoster because I can yank it off and lock it in the glove compartment and put it back on when I come out easier than any other holster made.
