XAVIER  ?? WHATS THIS WORLD COMMING TO !!!!!!!!!! STAR??? GEE WIZ I REMEMBER THE OLD SAILBOAT POSTING ABOUT STAR "B"....... anyway got to shoot the new Beretta Carbine X 9 mm I think they have 40S&W and 45 also.....WOW !!!! 5 1/2 LBS and extra small , guy paid $675... complete with tax....I think Beretta has a real winner I called Gaston and got his answer machine and told him " that could have been the Glock carbine ".......... well buddy hope your doing OK......................................................MIKE |

I'll try any gun! Whether I'll like it is another matter! ;D At any rate I'll post my totally objective, unbiased and unadulturated analysis of these two pistols soon.
I was actually thinking about a Star/HiPoint shootout, but the HiPoint would have to be new, because I can't find one used. After all, they are about the same price and are the same caliber.

 I don't know about the B, but I think you will find the BM a solid shooter. The Stars made Colt clones for a long time and I have a warm and fuzzy feeling for them because my first handgun was a Star. I had a more modern version than the BM. Mine was a 31P (early '90s) in .40, pictured above. The 31P (police) was a tack driver and solidly reliable once I replaced the extractor. I have read the BM is also accurate and easy to carry. Should be comfortable to shoot since those pistols are all steel. Can't wait to hear more, X. |
