As somewhat of an "outsider", I have no idea what all of this is about. From what I gather, the clique got broken up because threads got deleted. Now RogerC and DA/WhoCare's are battling for member registration on their own message boards. Is that what all of this is about? BTW, why is DA/Whocares always linking that msn groups website when it only consists of post from him? Please note, I am not trying to flame here and any offense I may have caused is out of pure ignorance. I just want to try and learn a little more about some of these toys before I drop big dollars on them. TIA for your replies!

There is no battle. DA seems to think there is, but I could care less. If you want to join a forum where there are no out of control egos, and no know-it-alls, just friendly talk about handguns, rifles, and the outdoors, try this one: gungroup.proboards3.comIf you don't, you don't. Simple as that. It's not about how many members anyone has, that's ridiculous. Since when is quantity more important that quality? The only reason I can see for him to be acting this way, is childish jealousy, and spite, because someone had the audacity to start another gun forum. Pretending to be someone else. Responding to his own posts, etc....... As for WHY things get deleted on his forum, you have to ask him. It's happened many times before. One of the reasons I started a new forum is because I got tired of starting over every few weeks. Some of us believe he has gone off the deep end. Personally, I think he was behind the downfall of this forum, as well. |

The truth of this matter is I went to Roger's Forum to add to his forum, and when I did, I was badgered and patronized for my preference in the Colt 1911, I was then informed by Roger's Moderator that I was wrong for referring to the mainspring in regards to the hammer pressure, that the mainspring served to provide pressure on the trigger and disconnector. I was then told to stick with what I knew, which was revolvers. When I rebutted, Roger stepped in deleting the thread, still not knowing a thing about the discussion, only that his close homeboy had egg all over his face.
I was only there to provide assistance in areas that I'm very familiar with, not to be patronized and badgered by Roger's close friends from his neighborhood.
As far as having anything to do with anything going wrong here; I was responsible for providing over 3,000. threads to this forum, including being a Global Moderator, and achieving the God ranking on three separate occaissions. With that, many members followed me to other forums and groups.
Roger flip flops from being against one thing to being for it the next, based on the opinions formed around his forum. He detested the 9mm until he found a deal on a Sig 225 and Browning Hi Power, he disliked Glocks until a new member on his forum showed up with a fondest for the pistols.
Approval ratings are based on open honest fact based information, and Roger knows nothing more about firearms than the price he pays for them.The only thing he ever contributed to any of my groups or forums was photos and a warped opinion.
Very difficult to argue a point when the person knows nothing about the topic.Next time Roger talks about poo poo on the face, ask him how he wipes his own poo poo off.

You were not badgered. You were a jerk. You tried to play God, and the thread was deleted because it showed a childish attitude on your part, and was quickly becoming a piss fest. What you guys were arguing about was irrelevant.
Your opinions of me, and what I know, are based on nothing but your spite, and your obvious jealousy over me starting another forum.
The fact that you have "over 3000 posts" is absolutely meaningless. Quantity means nothing. Most of your posts involve YOU, setting YOURSELF up, to look like you know everything.
As for my likes and dislikes, I really see no reason why anyone cannot purchase any fiearm he wants, and try new things. I own more firearms than you might think.
Our forum is forum is NOT about one or two people PLAYING THE EXPERT. Anyone can purchase, and discuss whatver guns they want, without worrying about any superior beings making fun of them. My likes and dislike may or may not change, based on individual guns. Who wouldn't like a HiPower or a Sig P225?
For you to make an assumption on what I know, or don't know, is pompous, to say the least. It is obvious that YOU are a legend in your own mind. Because you might know more about something than someone else, it should be an opportunity to share, not show off.
For the record. I had no idea you were on this forum, talking trash about our forum until someone told me. I was shocked to see such juvenile behavior.
Was I, or any of our members, on THIS forum, talking trash about YOUR forum. NO. It was YOU who insisted on not letting it go. It was YOU you passed judgment on another forum. It was YOU who deleted you membership, after I deleted the thread where you acted like a 4 year old. It was YOU who messed up your own forum, possibly to garner sympathy. Only you know the answer to that.
I think you have some serious issues, So do a lot of people who used to "know" you. This is something that you will have to come to grips with. People will, and CAN start their own forums. There is NOTHING you can do about it. It's a free country, Earl.
Remember. It was NOT me, who came here and started this, it was YOU. You, with your huge ego, and control issues. I never said a single thing about YOUR forum. I still haven't. All of my comments are directed at YOU.
You need help. Professional help.

Ah well, this has not turned out very well at all. Really doesn't show signs of improving either. I'd like to note that although I did indeed start this thread, my intention long ago was to ensure that everyone had a place to rally and restore the useful forum that we had built. DA, Roger and HogRider all provided that service to us at one time or another. Thank you for that. I'd suggest that readers take a look at both, as our members have fragmented a bit, very good info is to be had at each.
