I recently acquired a used Rossi .38 special that was probably sold by Interarms many years ago. Can anyone tell me how I could check old Interarms records to see if there is a recall or other problems that might exist with this pistol? The current Rossi website does not support guns imported by Interarms.

I also bought a Rossi 38 special. mine has "Interarms Alexandria Virginia" stamped on the right side of the frame. I sent a letter to the customer sevice address found on the Rossi website, to find out when it was made, and if I could get an owners manual. I am still waiting fo a reply.

Bad news is that Interarms is no longer in business. The good news is that you can probably still find a manual for it.
I have a link somewhere to a collection of handgun manuals in pdf format. Unfortunately, I don't have it here with me now. I'll check for you later on tonight.

Looks like DA beat me to the draw, as it were.
the Steves pages link is the one I was referring to.

ML; I just went over to the Handgun Forum and pulled them out of the link pages. ;D Jack I tried to find the Rossi your referring to on the list of recalls but right now that page is not available.
