( Not saled from my gun store till today) Someone told me that must be a dangerous handgun for problem in "firing pin" malfunction ... Can someone give me an opinion about Double Eagle ? . Does someone own the Double Eagle in 10mm and can someone reassure me on its use ? Thanks all for help me .

massimodc; Your putting alot of us on the spot, as well as putting the buggy before the horse, when you ask of opinions, after you already purchased the gun. The 10mm is a great choice, but the Double Eagle is one of those step children that Colt has abandoned long ago, which means that you might encounter problems with obtaining parts for in the future. This gun was one of those, like the All American 2000, that Colt was desperate to enter the double action semi auto market with. The Delta Elite, of the 1911 design, turned out to be the better choice of the chamberings for the 10mm from Colt. If you like it, it's your's to enjoy and I wish you the best of luck with it.
