I recently aquired an Armi Galesi Brescia Bretto 6.35 caliber pistol. Does anyone know much about this gun or where I can find more information on this pistol? I've done an internet search, but come up with nothing.
Thanks!

Prior to 1955, the gun making business of Armi Galsei of Collobeato/ Brescia , Italy became became Rigarmi di Rino Galesi. The original Galsei of 1914 was a 6.35mm blowback, based on the Browning of 1906. Production of this pistol was slowed down by the outbreak of WWI, but was rivived in 1919; these guns, made until 1923 were marked Brevetto 1923 Galesi Brescia on the slide with a lion-on-shield motif let into the grips. In 1923 a new gun appeared from the pattern of the Browning 1910. This was striker fired, in 6.35mm or 7.65mm, with the recoil spring around a fixed barrel. In 1950 the basic pattern was revised with a spring locking piece at the rear of the frame to assist in disassembly. This was known as the Model 9, with variable markings of Industria Armi Galesi Brescia Brevetto Cal, with other markings such as, Armi Galesi, Brevetto 1930, AN. IT. Armi Galesi, and SOC ITAL FLLI GALESI BRESCIA. The Model 9 continued to be produced with a few changes to the slide marking of Rigarmi Brescia or Rino Galesi Rigarmi Brescia, and the model was then known as the Model 53. I hope this helps

What book did you copy this from, Earl? No Copy; Came from notes I made while researching some Spanish handgun manufacturers a few years ago. This was long before I ran into cowboys of the internet like yourself.

BULLS-H-I-T
It's plagiarized like most all of your so called "knowledge".
You are probably some lonely a-s-s-hole, with no family, who reads a lot of books and like to pretend he knows something.
I bet you sit at your computer for days on end. Probably alternating between guns websites and kiddie porn.
