I am interested in buying a Kimber and I am not very savy on their guns. I think I want a Kimber Stainless II or a Custom TLE II, are these good Kimbers? What is Kimbers best, middle, and lowest grade models? Please give me all the info you know about these guns. Also, tell me about the .45 ACP(APC, not sure) ammo.

Kimber makes a good 1911. Very accurate, great triggers and quality fit/finish. Go to this forum and browse around the Kimber section. You will see guys bitching about their Kimbers, but don't take that too seriously. www.1911forum.com/forums/I have a pre-series II Classic Stainless Target and I love it. |

In the Kimber area of the 1911 forum there are a lot of posts condemning thier quality. However, I bought a Tactical Custom II and absolutely LOVE it. It's my every day, every where, duty gun.
