I recently started shooting (I like it a lot) but am concerned about lead poisoning. I went to the range yesterday and I'm afraid I inhaled a good bit of gunsmoke and now have a sore throat. If anybody knows where I can get cheap lead-free ammo on the web do let me know. Thanks.

Nathan,
Lead free ammo is available (for example, look at the remington site for 'frangible' ammo). However, it's not likely that the lead is what gave you the sore throat, the smoke comes from the powder.

Nathan,
I'm pretty sure that a sore throat is not a symptom of lead poisening, it's not something I would worry about.
However, the only lead free ammo I've seen has been kinda pricey, but I really havn't been looking for it so maybe some reasonably priced stuff is out there.
