Check out the spec sheet on this ammunition; Offered in most popular pistol cartridges, the Shear Power Plus is about the best price in a defensive cartridge possibly found anywhere. I've been using this ammunition for 15 years, and find it to be of the highest of quality. www.georgia-arms.comwww.georgia-arms.com/shear.htm

They apparently have temporarily ceased their brass credit program according to their web-site.

They apparently have temporarily ceased their brass credit program according to their web-site. It would be beneficial to call first about the brass credit, since this is only temporary. I do all of my business with georgia - arms in person, and last week I turned $345. dollars worth of brass. Thanks TA.

Texasshooter; Your Sig should have no problem putting under two inch groups at twenty five yards with this ammunition. I have two Sig 220s in .45 acp that I shoot the georgia arms ammo in, but I practice more with their 230 gr. FMJ reloads. I get tighter groups with the 185 gr. Gold Dot +P, in most of my 1911s and Sigs, but not that much difference at closer distances of ten to fifteen yards. Being that your 220 is an earlier version, the newer ones from around 1993 was built a little stronger to handle the higher velosity hp ammunition. Nonetheless; I have read very good reports of earlier Sig 220s, during the early 80's, holding up far beyond 10,000 rds without a hitch. As long as your recoil spring is in shape, you should be fine.
