I am buying a leather belt holster for my father in law who has a Ruger P90. He goes hiking in remote areas and walks long distances. What brand/type of belt holster would be the most comfortable? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Mostly a matter of preference. Belt or shoulder. There are so many styles. For good prices check out www.sportsmansguide.com. Good luck.

The two main types of belt holsters are inside or outside the waistband. IWB are better for concealed carry, but OWB seems better for hiking. I'd suggest that you look at one with a retension strap to ensure your (father's) Ruger dosen't get left behind.
Mine's a Galco (Fletch), but there are many fine makers. Your other consideration should be leather or Nylon, or even plastic ones. The forums listed below will give you more information, and links to the most popular manufacturers.
Best of luck.
