I recently received an envelope labeled DEFEAT THE MOTHER OF ALL GUN CONTROL BILLS.
It contained a form letter from an Alan Gottlieb, Chairman of the "Citizens Committee For The Right to Keep and Bear Arms". It contained a petition to be sent to Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist in an attempt to stop Democratic Minority Leader Tom Daschle's above mentioned piece of legislation. It also sought a donation. Any idea as to whether this is legitimate or a scare-tactic scam? Seems hard to believe that anyone but blatant gun-grabbers would vote for it anyway.

Any legitimate letter would include a bill number. If it has one, check it out on the senate website. Don't let anyone do your thinking for you.

It says S.22 but I'm lookin' into it somemore. Not to worry, however, like Quick Draw McGraw always said, "Listen Baba-Louie, I'll do the thin'-in around here".

P.S. I don't like it when the wife tries to make decisions for me, just don't let her know I said that. ;D
