Anyone who would think that more gun laws would reduce criminal violence in the first place would have to have their head examined. Violence and crime are already illegal, right? So why would adding more laws deter any criminal from breaking them? That is just what I don't get about society. If every law abiding citizen had a gun and was well written on how to use it properly, there would be virtually no crime. think about it. Who would try to rape, rob, or assault someone who they knew had a gun, and the others around them had a gun?

Even though the gun activists continue bringing this up,it is necessary in order to get through to the hard headed ignorance of those who continue to lobby for more gun control. This is a lesson most learn during the aftermath of restrictions imposed of the citizens.Great Britain and Austrailia are both learning from their gross mistakes, and hindsight. The right to carry firearms plays a viable role in our right to exist, without it we become just another third world nation ruled by terrorism.
