I just moved here from an other State. Also, my son is at a curious age. So, I would like to sell my 15 yr. old (but in excellent condition) S & W stainless model 60. I know it's value, new, but not the pre-owned market nor do I know the laws, in WA., regarding expectations from a potential buyer. ie waiting time, documentation, store vs individual (which is not a very comforting proposition). How should this be handled, legally, and get the proper value out of my property?

divebo, You can get an idea of the market value by looking at www.gunbroker.com and doing a search on your handgun to see what others are getting for it. Regarding the laws, you can get some good info from www.packing.org, but be sure to check with your local pistol permit office or district attorney's office to get the final word. Take Care, MLB
