I have a S & W 9VE handgun. I find it's trigger is heavy and long ,because there is a safety device built in to the trigger, the fire pin cannot move unless the trigger is fully pulled through.
Some gunsmiths said they can work on the trigger and let it become lighter. but when I called Smith & Wesson‘s technical support, they said they can't do that, maybe this gun will misfire if they do . They said this gun is 100%OK and I should know how to use it.
I don't know who is correct and what I should do, I just know some guns also have “ heavy trigger “problem and can adjust the Trigger , but why the S & W’s trigger can’t be adjusted.
