i am looking to get a laser sight for my XD40. My wife can not blink/close one eye, so she has a difficult time aiming (I have no idea why she can't do this, but she just can't). Since the guns are so new there are not many options.
I would like a fully internal laser. Does anyone know of one that works for the XD?
I also was looking at the Streamlight M6 Laser/Tactical Light, which is not internal, but also adds tactical light. Does anyone know of its quality?
Thanks

gumbo;your wife shouldn't have to close either eye in order to aim a handgun.Knowing which of her eyes are the dominate eye is very important, and aligning the sight picture to that particular eye.I often help people determine this by having them look at an object, both eyes open, with the object centered at the at the nose.I then have them bring their index finger in front ay arms length aligned with the object.I have them close one eye at a time, and which one remains on the object is the Dominant eye for focusing on the sights. Most natural right handed people focus on the dominate right eye.By bringing the sights in alignment with the dominate eye, facing forward ( head Square with the pistol's bore ),pistol bore in alignment with the forearm, the non focusing eye can be slightly squinted to assist in training the shooter to focus on the front sight with both eyes open. She can practice this using soft air,Co2 pellet pistols,or dry fire techniques,it will save on range expenses.
