How good are McCormick mags? Any recommendations besides Colt or Wilson, I already know they're good.

Magnum;Colt has been using McCormick's 8 rd. Shooting Star Followers in their magazine tubes for a number of years.I have only two of the all McCormick magazines, their 10 rd.,they seem to be pretty good.I do prefer the removable base plates over the welded;I had the outer lip on a welded plate snag on a seat belt, while getting out of a car one day,the plate didn't give away until about 10 minutes later.
