Living in an area where discharging firearms are immediately reported to the local public safety office resulting in a visit from a uniform patrol officer;I have found a better alternative.In between visits to ranges I found solice in a CO2 powered pellet pistol;the all metal German manufactured C-225.This pistol has the same dimentions as the Sig Sauer P-225,the pistol it was modeled from,it has a Double Action/Single Action trigger,functional dekocker,adjustable rear dovetail site,dove tail front site,shoots .177 wadcutter target pellets from an 8 shot rotary magazine,and can easily shoot ten spots at twenty yards on a full charge.If practice is a money issue as some like .22 rimfires,this gun turns almost any backyard into a private range,complete with moving targets if desired at a cost so low it is unbelievable.Good for teaching basics to the younger ones also and no more unannounced visits.
