Does anyone know of a distributor who is selling spare magazines or accessories for the new Steyr "M" series pistols? They are a beautiful gun, I would really like to add a tactical light and a laser to mine.

Wiley;until a popularity grows with some pistols it takes awhile for some distributers to stock marketable accessories.There are few magazines that I trust outside of original factory mags,even with the Colt 1911s I trust only two others and they cost more than the factory mags.With the Sigs I stay with factory mags only.It would probably be best to get in touch with Steyr and inquire about a list of dealers and distributers of factory authorized parts and accessories.I tried looking in Brownell's new catalog and did not find a listing for the Steyr yet.

When I bought mine I asked the dealer if he had any M40 mags. He said he bought some when he bought the guns b/c the were supposed to be hard to get. He was selling them for $20, which was a good deal. I have seen them on different web site just doing random searches fo rbetween $30-$40. As for as accessories I would think about any rail mounted laser or light would work. My only conplaint is that you can't find a Kydex paddle holster for them.  |
