Accuracy in an out of the box handgun is a mark of excellence with very little variances.Good can apply to almost any handgun worthy enough to hit the broadest side of a barn.Excellence in accuracy is the Sig Sauer P-210.For the money you can invest your money in any of the P series pistols in compact to full size for accuracy, but their far above from being good, and they come that way out of the box;I would recommended applying the proper lubricant to the proper areas first before firing one.I'm not going to recommend any target grade 1911 pistol to an inexperienced shooter because of how they should be handled.

NO WAY is a gun that can only hit the broadest side of a barn a good gun. i'd definately put that in the category of bad. But if that's how you wnat to put it, hten i want a gun that is in the category of excellence. no one ever seems mentin mark 23 or jerichos for some reason. and from your point of view, is it that you see the p 210 as the most accurate sig, or any other gun.

Accuracy is dependant upon three things;the handgun, the ammunition, and the user. All I was saying in reference to the barn is in regards to the variances involved in accuracy.Shot groups are one such way of measuring performance of accuracy in handguns and the ammunition used. The tighter the shot groups are with the most shots fired, the less variances you'll have in accuracy. Those handguns with less variances in accuracy tend to cost more;those with more tend to cost less. The Sig 210 has been called by many to be the most accurate with less variances, for a number of reasons. On the average, for semi-autos;the most accurate pistol that I've hand held to date is the Sig 229 Sport pistol in either .357 sig,or the .40 S&W.That doesn't make it the most accurate because it is opinionated based on my own limited experience. If your looking for an overall accurate pistol in a defensive caliber, it is at your option to take a look at the family of Sig Sauer/Sigarms P-Series pistols, and decide for yourself.
