The Colt's Gold Cup National Match has been around for quite some time,and there are things about it which are much different than the other 1911 pistols;one is the sear depressor.If you've ever encountered this small spring activated lever during dissassembly you'll know what a bugger it can be.The newer Trophy Gold Cups do not have this item,as I joyfully found out.I have a tool that I developed in order to extract the sear with the depressor captured with it;I had no choice ,since I found no such tool available.I would like to read someone elses solution to removing and reinstalling this part.
