At the resturant I met a fellow gun buff and he swears that if Bush is still going strong in 1994 the ban wont be kept up??? I have no idea , what do you guys think??? He claims it all depends on him, I said I think its a vote, but who makes that type of vote?  ? .....Mike |

Heck, throw me back into 1994 - I'd buy all the tech stocks I could get my hands on when they were worth a penny, and make a fortune in 1998-99 when dotcom millionaires were being made by the boatful.

Ok, enough of the teasing........ I understand your basic question Mike.
For the AWB/HCB to make it to Bush's desk to be signed, it must first go through Congress. Bush is in a pretty safe position because there is a pretty good chance it won't make it to his desk. Control of Congress was lost to the Republicans on this very issue. I don't think it will be brought up. Have you noticed that even the media is avoiding it?

well one thing has changed since the ban, CCW permits ,they were never as easy to get, also the gun makers have made many new models to sell the carry crew, lighter, new materials , some better some not..if the states will keep honoring each other we may get a full CCW in all states......I know I'm dreaming but you never know..I may not get to see it but maybe the younger guys might. I really belive since 911 even people who are not for guns see the benefit of having some guy saving the day by being armed.....terorism and Islam will be here for a long time and we havnt seen the last of there actions I know they will try and get us again.........................................Mike
