I gave $540 for mine, NIB. It is a KI date code.
Where I live anything under $700 would be considered good. Don't shy away from this pistol as a used weapon. It's extremely durable, and once it is shot, you can immediately take $100 of the new price. After that it holds value like velco.

saw used ones (excellent condition) from 559.00-599.00. (stainless slide) New ones cost around 650.00-670.00. Good luck, and a good choice.

The shops in my local have them priced new 700-750 for a USP blued in .40 But this seems high. I bought my last pistol through Impact Guns online and they have some pretty good prices, You will have to add $25 in shipping to what ever price is listed on the page. They have NIB USP .40 blued for $629, I would call it a good deal but you might want to see what some other people on the forum think. I would also second what has already been said, If you can find a used one that is up to your standards you could save some cash. Here is the link to the H&Ks that they have for sale www.impactguns.com/store/hk_handgun.html

I've been pricing them myself (I check GunBroker and AuctionArms). I'm thinking of .45 for the H&K and maybe a .40 Beretta Cougar. I'll try this month's gun show to save the shipping and transfer fees before looking at mail order.
