For those who have seen the movie "Minority Report"
What was the gun that belonged to Tom Cruise's character in the movie. The setting is about 50 years in the future, so initally I thought it was just some prop master's creation. However, it looks like a Beretta 9000. Is that correct?
Also in a on-screen related question:
In "Band of Brothers," one of the last episodes sees a GI pull his 1911 out on a German baker because the Americans are taking his shop's goods to feed the concentration camp inmates down the road. When the baker protests, out comes the gun, complete with 3-dot white sights!
Did GI's in WW2 routinely put in improved sights on their weapons?

For some reason I want to say that he carried a Beretta 9000, but it's been a while since I saw the movie. Try this link, if it'll work, and see if that's the gun you're talking about. It looks pretty spaceage!! www.beretta.com/home_2002.asp
