Has anyone tried or had any experience w/ any of these Mech-Tech Systems Carbine Conversion Units? They are available for Glock and 1911 - style pistols; actually replacing the barrel/slide to convert your pistol to a short rifle/carbine.... Looks pretty gimmiky, but probably fun at the same time.
It might be interesting to see what kind of ballistics I could get out of firing a .357sig from a 16" barrel....hmm, and then pick up one of those G22 29 round mags and really make some music.
