Sorry, Walther guys..... Even though I absolutely love my P99, I love my SIG just a little bit more. Don't let either of them know, though, k? They both think they're my favorite Neglecting the Walther I see. You love your Benz more than your Porsche? You don't deserve her...

Sorry MLB. I thought that should have been said. Not trying to restart the car comparisons agian. I just think that HKs are the finest guns on the list above. The USP compacts are amazing, and so is the P2000.

I'll stick with the Walthers, Sigs and Glocks...fine guns with fine bods...

Jonathan, you think a Glock or a Sig look as good as an HK??? WOW! You are officially the first person I have ever heard say that. Glocks are great guns, but look decent, kinda plain. The Sig is an excelent gun, and looks very nice. Not too sure about the Walther though. HKs and Sigs are the best handguns you can purchase, IMO. But the HK to me look nicer than the Sig, and def perform a little better, they are lighter, and have a lifetime warranty, Sig only has a 3 or 4 year warranty. I do like Sig very much, but HK takes it.

I do like Sig very much, but HK takes it. Again thats YOUR opinion and I respect it and here is mine once again... The Walthers, Sigs, Glocks and H&Ks are all fine built and extremely effective handguns. To say one is better than the other is a matter of preference really. I wouldn't take ANY two H&Ks over my P99. Thats my opinion. These guns are all so close performance wise that it comes down to visual taste. Appearance wise the Walther takes the cake in my opinion hands down with the P99 being the prettiest gun I have ever laid eyes on. Sig comes in second. Although Sigs are great looking guns they really don't stand out in my opinion. The Glocks have grown on me appearance wise plus they feel and shoot so well that I had to put them on the top of my list. As for the H&Ks, I want to love them, I really do but I can't get over how ugly they look. I especially hate their over sized oddly shaped and thin trigger guards. H&Ks are just too average looking to justify the price over so many other fine handgun makes. From my understanding, they're great guns but I just can't get over the way they look. My opinion of course...

Actually the trigger guards are wider than Sigs and Glocks.

I was just peepin some Walther P99s and I think they were trying to go for a "look". Its almost too busy. Looks like it has all kinds of stuff going on with it, but it doesnt. And dont you think the grip kinda looks like a vibrator or sex toy of some type? Not sure about the looks of the P99. Maybe it will take time to get used to. I would personally only own a Sig or HK. And like they say, you get what you pay for.

And like they say, you get what you pay for. You get what you pay for??? Not when it comes to cars and guns you don't. Sometimes you get more and sometimes you get less. I would have seriously paid $2,000 for the Walther P99. Price isn't really an issue for me. I don't let it get in the way of what I want. I feel the Walther P99 is well priced and so are the Sigs. The Sigs aren't priced much higher than the Walthers and you also have to take into consideration that the P99 is a polymer pistol. The highest priced Walther costs more than the highest priced Sig and H&K if I'm not mistaken. They made some custom Bond P99s that cost over $2,000. I really don't feel that the H&Ks are worth the extra cash over the Walthers, Sigs and Glocks. I would rather spend $1,000 on a Glock than spend $500 on an H&K. Th H&Ks haven't in any way proven themselves to be better in any way than the Walthers and Sigs. Hells the Glocks have proven themself more durable than any other handgun in existence. I was surpised to see how low priced the Glocks were. I bet Glock could raise the price of their guns 50% and they would still sell considerably.

Bentley ? Where in Germany do they build Bentleys? Jonathon, you've got to reach deep into your heart and express your feelings a little better about the Walther, you sound as though your talking about a good deal on a used car. ;D Now come on guys, we can do better than this when we talk of one of our most personnal prized possesions. Would anyone want to read about how I first found out about the Sig Sauer ? Or the first time I held one in my hand ? The first wasn't on the internet, and the second one did not happen at a gun show, a friend's house, or a gun dealer.Either way, there was a 14 year gap between the two events.

Double Action, what are you talking about? I was comparing the quality. Not where they are made.

Double Action, what are you talking about? I was comparing the quality. Not where they are made. Quality interior yes, quality build quality of course but not quality engineering. They're known to be extremely unreliable automobiles. Rich kid near my house, his father owns two...don't ask him how much he pays to fix those things every other day. But hey if you can afford a car like that then you can afford to fix it...
